Do you know any proven ways of relaxing body and cleaning it from toxins? A bath with Himalayan salt can be a pleasant and at the same time a useful way of doing so. We highly recommended!

Himalayan salt, unlike the conventional common salt, is composed of 84 natural elements and minerals. It is considered to be the purest salt on the planet and it is ideal in the kitchen, but also - in our home spa.

Prepare a bath with the addition of Himalayan salt:

Add 10 mg of salt per 1 litre of water. It means that we will need 1.2 kg of salt for a full bath. The water temperature should be chosen by you. The temperature of 37 degrees Celsius is the most optimal in this case.

During the bath, ions, compounds from the salt, will penetrate the skin. This stimulation causes the natural growth of cells in the living layers of the skin. The richness of mineral compounds in Himalayan salt makes bath a healing, purifying therapy. You should remember not to add any extra bath oils, lotions or soaps! Salt bath should last from 20 to 30 minutes. At the end you should not wash it down, but immediately wipe it up with a towel. After the bath, you should spend 30 minutes on regeneration or resting.

Almost everyone can take a salt bath. It is particularly advisable for people with skin problems, rheumatism, joint diseases or with recurrent infections.

The only contraindication for the usage of salt baths are problems with the cardiovascular system. Therefore - if you have poor circulation, you should consult your doctor before you start your salt baths.
